The Serta Raised Air Mattress is a high-end inflatable bed designed to offer comfort and convenience — combining portability with features that make it feel more like a regular bed than a typical air mattress. It stands 18 inches tall, which makes it easier to get in and out of than floor-level airbeds. The mattress includes a built-in “Never Flat” pump system: a primary pump for rapid inflation/deflation and a secondary silent pump that monitors air pressure and automatically re-inflates if pressure drops overnight — helping to maintain firmness and avoid waking up on a sagging bed.

Structural Support & Weight Distribution: Whether the mattress can distribute weight evenly (especially for two sleepers or heavier individuals), avoid pressure points, and stay level through the night.
Air Retention & Stability Over Time: Whether the mattress holds air reliably overnight, whether its materials resist punctures/leaks, and whether the firmness stays consistent.
Comfort & Ergonomics (Height, Surface, Sleep Feel): Whether the sleeping surface (height, softness, firmness) is comfortable — especially compared to a regular mattress; whether it supports good spinal posture; how easy it is to get on/off.
Ease of Use, Setup & Storage: How quickly and easily the mattress inflates/deflates, how compact it becomes when stored, whether portability and ease-of-storage matter for your situation.
Intended Use (Occasional vs Regular Use): Whether the mattress is intended for occasional guests/travel or can handle repeated or nightly use; whether the materials and build are robust enough for repeat use.
One key strength of this mattress is its internal coil structure combined with the “Never Flat” dual-pump system. The coil system aims to mimic traditional mattress support (rather than a simple air bladder), distributing weight more evenly across the surface. The Never Flat pump monitors pressure and top-up inflation automatically if needed — a major advantage over cheaper airbeds that often deflate a bit overnight.
These factors represent the most critical aspects that will impact your satisfaction with this product.
I'm an overweight, obese man who has bad luck with air mattresses. Nearly all of them end up mostly flat by the time I wake up in the morning. This one held together nicely and while it did lose air, it kept most of it.
I have had a few air mattresses...because of my work...I use them frequently and on a daily basis...this mattress is by far one of the best i've ever had....last year my favorite one I had for years which was a aero bed..
