I will admit. I was a bit skeptical to try this as it was likely returned or something like that. I was in a pinch and had to replace my modem quick the next day and this was all Amazon got for next day delivery. It arrived and setup was easy to get going. It definitely had been opened but what do you expect for renewed. It has operated just fine over the past few months that I have had it. It is super nice to not have to pay a bill every month! The internet has not dropped and the speeds are at or above advertised giving stable and reliable speeds and internet connectivity.
I have Optimum Online (a.k.a. Altice, a.k.a. Cablevision) 500mbps broadband Internet to my home. I keep wanting to switch to Verizon FiOS, but every time I call Optimum to cancel they lower the price of my service. I figure in about 4 more years they'll be paying me to stay. Lol. Which is okay with me, because as bad as Optimum's tech support is, Verizon's billing department is worse. But I digress.
