This is a very handy tester that works well and is very easy to use. Yes, they will do the same sort of test at AutoZone, O'Reilly, Advance Auto but it is still handy to have in your toolbox. Only negative to it I found is that while it does give a test result for internal resistance denoted as "RES." on the screen, the manual doesn't give any information about what that is or what good, average or bad reading would be.
The connectors seem really well made and are larger than what you find on a lot of battery chargers which make fitting on the battery terminal much easier. The device powers on quickly and was very simple to use. I didn't even read the directions the first time I used it.
