Faster and easier to deploy than an extinguisher

Years ago I had a fire in my microwave. I was cooking a squash on a paper towel that, back then, must have had some micro metal in it, because it caught fire and I turned around and saw my microwave looking like a fireplace! Back then, I grabbed a kitchen towel, flooded it with water, opened the door and tossed it in, and it extinguished the flame. These blankets work the same way, without the water.
