This review is for the 256GB SSD, which doesn't appear to be available any more, so here's hoping the only difference is the capacity. This SSD is a nice, solid, compact little drive, which performas well, even on my OLD Linux desktop. The total capacity is 250 million MB, which a Windows PC will show as 238.46GB, but any drive manufacturer will tell is 250GB. So don't feel shortchanged when you see the smaller capacity - real computer geeks know that a gigabyte is 1,024 megabytes, and a megabyte is 1,014 bytes, and hard drive manufacturers decided years ago to calculate their capacities by rounding things off to 1,000 bytes = 1 MB and 1,000 MB = 1 GB. Windows just hasn't given up on binary math yet, so it will show this as a 238.46 GB drive. (Linux Mint shows it as 250 GB.) And that's enough math for today.
