Connection type: XLR (requires phantom power from an audio interface, mixer or preamp).
Included accessories: shockmount (micro spider), foldable table stand, 2.5 m XLR cable and windshield — most sellers show the same kit contents.
Build & brand positioning: marketed as a durable, value-oriented studio mic set (Cascha brand) rather than a pro boutique large-diaphragm studio condenser.
Use cases: podcasting, streaming, voice-over, instrument capture and conference/online meeting recording when paired with an interface
The HH-5050 is an XLR condenser, so it requires an external source of phantom power (typically +48 V) and a mic preamp — for example, an audio interface, mixer, or dedicated preamp. That means the mic is not plug-and-play with a computer by itself; you’ll need at least a simple USB audio interface to record to a PC. This is important for budgeting and for the expected signal quality you’ll be able to achieve.
These factors represent the most critical aspects that will impact your satisfaction with this product.
Not very user friendly. Manual is very poor. Controls seem to have little impact on volume and some of the preplay sounds don't show up in the recording. AVOID and get a better unit.
Everything works. It sounds great!
