The RDINSCOS pinless moisture meter is a non-invasive moisture detector designed to help homeowners, inspectors, contractors or DIYers find hidden dampness or water damage inside wood, plaster, drywall, masonry, concrete and similar building materials. Money well spent!! As a salesperson and estimator in the flooring industry, this tool in invaluable. I don’t know that if it’s as good as the ones that cost hundreds of dollars, but it’s good enough for me to know when a job isn’t ready for installation or if there’s a moisture problem that’s causing problems with the floors that I’ve sold.
Wish you knew about this little gadget long ago however I don’t know if it’s still working properly like it should cause I try to fire up my wood burner this year and it just will not burn even though it tells me the wood is fine
