Acoustic architecture vs. enclosure size. A racetrack woofer and passive radiators can move more air than a single tiny round driver, improving perceived bass and midrange for a given enclosure volume. Expect limits vs full-size systems, but better performance than typical mono pocket speakers.
Power, headroom & distortion control. Claimed wattage (e.g., 35 W) tells you potential loudness, but real loudness and clarity depend on amplifier headroom and how the design handles distortion at high volumes. Look for clean drivers + passive radiators to reduce distortion.
Battery capacity vs real-world playtime. Manufacturer hours (24 h here) assume moderate volume and no extra loads (lights, phone charging). High volume, bass, or lighting will reduce runtime. Battery mAh and efficiency matter.
Ingress protection & ruggedness. IPX7 means resistance to immersion (up to ~1 m briefly); it doesn’t guarantee dust ingress protection (no “IP67” dust spec shown). For beach/pool use IPX7 is strong, but rinse-off and drying are still recommended.
Connectivity & ecosystem features. Bluetooth version, pairing ease, range, and TWS/stereo modes affect convenience. USB/TF/AUX playback options expand usefulness when phones aren’t available.
The listing highlights a 2-way X10 MAX system: a racetrack-shaped woofer for stronger low/mid output, a dedicated tweeter for clear highs, and dual passive radiators for added bass punch. That acoustic combo is designed to produce more convincing low end and clarity than a typical mono portable speaker of similar size. Expect better mid-bass presence and clarity, especially with the product’s “BASS” button or Extra Bass mode.
These factors represent the most critical aspects that will impact your satisfaction with this product.

This speaker is absolutely awesome! I bought it to replace my Lenrue A10 — I’ve gone through two of those at just under 20 bucks each. This OHAYO speaker blows the Lenrue away. It’s the perfect size, with all the ports on top, so no more broken charging ports like the Lenrue had. It’s much louder and has far better sound quality.
