Meta Quest 2 is a standalone virtual reality headset from Meta (formerly Oculus) — meaning the device integrates sensors, display, processing, controllers, and battery so you don’t need a PC or console to use it. It delivers immersive VR experiences: games, 360° media, fitness apps, social VR, and more, with freedom of movement and inside-out tracking. For many users, Quest 2 represents a balanced, relatively affordable, “plug-and-play” entry point into VR.

Display, Tracking & Performance — Quest 2 uses a fast-switch LCD screen with resolution 1832×1920 per eye, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 chipset and 6 GB RAM.
Refresh Rate and Visual Smoothness — The headset supports refresh rates from 60 Hz up to 90 Hz (and some modes up to 120 Hz — depending on content) for smoother motion rendering.
Stand-alone Convenience (No PC Needed) — You don’t need a gaming PC or external sensors; Quest 2 works on its own. That makes setup quick and flexible, and reduces total cost if you don’t already own a VR-ready PC.
Room-Scale & 6-DoF Tracking + Motion Controllers — The headset uses inside-out tracking (via built-in cameras) plus motion controllers for 6-degree-of-freedom movement and intuitive interaction. Good for room-scale VR, action games, exploration and immersive experiences.
Comfort & Ergonomics — Quest 2 is lighter than its predecessor (around 503 g), with a soft adjustable strap and a removable foam facial interface (including glasses-spacer).
One of Quest 2’s biggest strengths is that it doesn’t require a gaming PC, external sensors or cables (for regular use). That means you can simply wear the headset and start — ideal for users who don’t own powerful PCs, or who want portability and minimal setup.
These factors represent the most critical aspects that will impact your satisfaction with this product.
Bought one and then a second one, everything works perfectly. I didn't connect mics to specific units so they could simply be used with either unit in case one ever goes out or batteries run out on one mic. Used these for presentations and karaoke. One unit probably would have done the job but pointing two in different directions seems to help.
37 years singing. This little portable PA system has the power to hold it's own "reasonable well" even in large auditorium like a church. Good clear sound for vocals and music even when the volume is turned up because the speaker does not distort - sounds clear and full.
