The Clutch Pro USB-C Portable Charger aims to be a small, travel-friendly power bank. It markets itself as compatible with a wide range of phones (both Android and iPhone) and USB-C devices, and is also reportedly TSA-approved — making it more suitable for carry-on use if you travel.
Battery capacity is modest (5,000 mAh): This makes the charger best suited for a partial charge, emergency top-up, or short trip — not for multiple full charges or powering large/ multiple devices.
Built-in cable / magnetic / USB-C design — portability vs flexibility: The built-in cable and (in some variants) magnetic attachment mean you don’t need to carry extra cables: convenient for on-the-go use and travel. But if the cable is damaged or you want to charge a device with a different port type — you might lose flexibility compared to power banks with standard USB-A/USB-C ports.
Intended use — phones and small devices, not heavy devices: Given the 5,000 mAh capacity and compact design, it’s most appropriate for smartphones, earbuds, small accessories, and emergency backup — not tablets or laptops.
Charge speed & convenience (for small top-ups): For topping up a typical phone (especially if it's only partially depleted), this charger could be fairly convenient and sufficient.
Portability and travel-friendly design (TSA, size, weight): The charger is slim and compact (~3.86″ × 2.64″ × 0.32″) and reportedly TSA-approved — meaning you can carry it in your carry-on when flying, which is a plus if you travel often.
With only 5,000 mAh of capacity and the design optimized for portability, the real-world output is limited. This means you should treat this charger as a backup battery for emergencies or boosts — not as a main charger for multiple cycles or heavy power needs.
These factors represent the most critical aspects that will impact your satisfaction with this product.
This charger is great for my iPhone; it does not charge it in full but it is very convenient if you run out of battery power and you are not home. I like that it is iPhone compatible. Very compact as advertised.
I travel a lot and take loads of photos on my trips, which uses a lot of battery power. My phone is always running out of juice well before the end of the day. That’s why I bought this charger and, overall, I’m happy with my purchase.
