Battery capacity and energy (88 Wh / 24000 mAh) — defines total runtime and how many charges or which devices can be powered.
AC output power (approx 80 W continuous, ~120 W peak according to many specs) — sets what devices you can plug in via AC outlet.
Ports and output types — includes QC 3.0 USB, USB-A, USB-C (some variants), a DC port, and AC outlet. Good for charging phones, laptops, small electronics.
Physical size & portability — compact (about 6.5 × 4.6 × 3.1 inches) and relatively light (≈ 2.4 lb), making it easy to carry for camping, travel, or emergency kits.
Safety features & battery management — built-in BMS (battery management system), with protections like over-current, over-voltage, over-temperature, etc. Good for safe charging/use.
With 24000 mAh at 3.7 V (≈ 88 Wh), this pack stores modest energy compared to larger power stations. This capacity is enough to charge phones many times, or power small devices (lights, fans, routers) for hours. But it's not sufficient for high-power appliances (heaters, microwaves, large fridges, etc.). Because 88 Wh is under many airline-allowed battery thresholds (often ~100 Wh), the unit may be more portable / travel-friendly than larger “power stations.” (Indeed some real-world users treat it like a high-capacity power bank / travel UPS.)
These factors represent the most critical aspects that will impact your satisfaction with this product.
We bought this little power bank for our son. It has a pretty powerful light on one end that is mighty convenient. The battery capacity is convenient for cell phones, Nintendo switch, tablets, and can go for a couple charges. There are multiple style charging options.. USB ports, type c port, regular plug in.. Overall, we are happy with this purchase, and would buy again. He still uses this a year later with no issue. The quality is better than expected, and it's a good value for the money.
This thing is quite small, so don't expect it to be something that takes care of your electrical needs while camping off grid. This M82SMAX isn't like a large Delta battery pack, with only an 80 watt continuous inverter (120 watt max) and 30,000mAh capacity, it's small and light enough to fit in your hand. It has a modified sine wave inverter instead of pure sine wave, so I wouldn't want to use this as a daily thing for sensitive electronics - but for emergency usage it's fine.
