Maximum continuous wattage (200 W) — defines what appliances you can realistically run.
Battery capacity & usable energy (5 Ah at 20 V → energy in Wh) — affects runtime.
Compatibility with DeWALT 20V batteries — which battery models are supported.
Output types (AC vs USB vs USB-C) — match to devices you’ll power.
LED light & additional features — handy for camping but not a substitute for larger power stations.
A 200 W continuous limit is the single most important practical constraint. This determines whether the station can run small appliances (fans, small fridges, laptops) or only charge phones and run lights. If the total connected load exceeds 200 W the unit’s protection will likely trigger and it will shut down. For anything with a motor (compressor fridges, power tools), check starting/surge watts — many motors need a surge higher than their running watts.
These factors represent the most critical aspects that will impact your satisfaction with this product.
I routinely use backup lighting around the house for repair projects, interior painting, or craft projects that need good strong lighting....as well as when the utility power goes out. Many years ago I bought a pair of photographic light stands with photoflood reflectors that accommodate typical screw-in light bulbs and provide a nice even flood of light on the subject area. They're my go-to lights for nearly any added-light need.
So far it works like a charm. Came already charged. It’s small and compact. The directions are very easy. And it doesn’t stand out. It charged my Apple Watch and 45 minutes.
