This is a handheld laser barcode scanner designed to plug into a USB port for direct connection to a computer or POS system (plug‑and‑play). It supports standard 1‑D barcodes (various symbologies like Code128, Code39, UPC‑A/E, EAN‑8/13, Interleaved 2 of 5, MSI, etc.). The scanner uses a visible laser (650–670 nm) for reading barcodes, and offers fast scanning — up to 200 scans per second. It is described as ergonomic and lightweight, suitable for retail, warehouse, library, pharmacy, inventory‑management, and other general barcode‑scanning tasks.

Scanning Speed & Accuracy: A scanner must read barcodes quickly and correctly — especially important in high-volume retail, warehousing, or inventory management.
Supported Barcode Types: The range of compatible barcode symbologies (e.g. UPC, EAN, Code128, Code39, etc.) ensures flexibility across products and labeling standards.
Connectivity & Setup: Wired vs. wireless, and how easy setup is — plug-and-play USB scanners eliminate complex installation and driver issues.
Durability & Build Quality: For frequent use (warehouses, stores, shipping desks), a rugged body, resistance to drops/shock, and longevity matter.
Compatibility with OS & Software: Must integrate smoothly with the system you use (Windows, Mac, Linux, POS software, etc.).
High-speed scanning (200 scans/sec) means you can process many items quickly — critical for retail checkout lines, warehouse check‑in/out, or inventory audits. Fast and accurate scanning reduces misreads and speeds up work. Because the scanner supports many common 1‑D barcode formats (UPC‑A/E, EAN‑8/13, Code128, Code39, Interleaved 2 of 5, etc.), it will be compatible with standard retail products, packaging labels, library tags, asset tags, etc. That flexibility matters if you work with varied inventory or multiple barcode standards.
These factors represent the most critical aspects that will impact your satisfaction with this product.
Works great. Arrived well packaged. Price was affordable.
This is so easy to use! Just plug it into your computer or laptop and start scanning. No software or drivers to download. At least not with the laptop I was using. Makes life so much easier if you have lots of barcodes to scan! So far, I'm very happy with it's capability and accuracy and affordability! Thank you so much!
