I purchased the B&O Beosound A1 2nd Gen to improve my MacBook Pro - based, 2 cable (1 monitor power cord, 1 USBC to drive the external monitor + power my MacBook Pro) work from home setup. My work area is limited and in the middle of my kitchen / living / dining area — so aesthetics are also a factor.
Best bluetooth speaker I have ever owned. Battery life, sound quality, build quality are all amazing. App works great and the EQ really helps make the audio playback pop. I can't speak for it's waterproof-ness. This thing looks way to nice to bring in the shower with me and I can't imagine stainless steel and leather will end well with repeated wetness, but I am glad it should survive a splash or rain when the day comes.
